I did a complete rebuild of one of those about 10 years ago for a friend. The engine was in a bad way and needed a crank regrind etc. Interesting to work on and the usual Plumstead quality. It went lovely too with lots of grunt however the front brake is nowhere near enough for the all up weight and speed. It's the same brake that I had on my 350 GLS which was about right for that!

My mate had one these in the 1960s,clip ons,rear sets and I believe high lift cams,he was 5feet tall and light, he used to fly past me on my thunderbird very fast bike,but took a while to build up speed if I remember correctly
