Yes, this very nice car... tricar!!! 😍 Whe haven't 4 Messerchmitt in 1970. In Switzerland. 1 for my Mother, , 1 red cabriolet for my father and two for rescue. I have many happy remembers of this tricar. It was nice time.

I owned one when I was in my teens. I enjoyed seeing this pretty example. When you started it up it made me laugh out loud, though. Smoke coming out the tailpipe and that crazy racket! Still, how could it be more charming?

Many would call these things death traps. Me, I take the opposite view. I'd love one of these, but they're rare and VERY expensive in Australia...

The position you set the fuel tap was the reserve setting. Half way down is main and up is off. When the engine started to splutter on main you could (just) reach back whilst still driving and turn it to reserve to get another few miles. So who needs a fuel gauge?
