-CCP front Subframe kit w/ Upper & lower control arms
-4 wheel Disc Brakes
-17 inch U.S. Mags (U201 Standard) wheels

All '63 Chevy II Nova Sport Coupes had 437 VINS. The SS was an option package and would show as a 'Z' or 'X' on the cowl tag. If your '63 has a 118 VIN, you have a real VIN problem! JayR

Could be a VIN issue, but when I bought this car it was completely original with 194 engine, 2 speed powerglide, 4 lug with SS hubcaps and drum brakes, still has the original paint and interior with SS steering wheel, SS badge on glove box and original SS emblems. I also have the original booklets from the first buyer, I’m the 3rd owner

If it has a 118 VIN, it is from a car that didn't exist in 1963. If the VIN tag is riveted on, it has been tampered with because 1963 Novas had the VIN tag spot-welded to the door jamb. GM didn't start using rivets on Novas until 1965.

1963 Nova SS cars didn't have 118 VIN #s. That designation didn't start until 1965.

@@DD-gi6kx 1963 Chevy II Nova SS The Chevy II was introduced in 1962 and only had detail improvements for the 1963 model year. There were three series 100, 300 and Nova 400 and 10 regular models including sedans, station wagons, hardtops and convertibles. A new Super Sport package was available on the Nova 400 coupe and convertible. The SS package included finned wheel covers, wider body-side moldings, aluminized rear panels, 6.50x13 bsw tires, SS emblems and cost $161. Over 44,000 Nova SS coupes and convertibles were produced during the 1963 model year.

@@ValorLife you are missing the point, 63 did have SS option, but the 118 in the VIN was not how they designated SS in 63....the only designation to SS in 63 is X or Z in cowl tag not VIN

I hate to say it, but there is a good chance this car is stolen if it has a 118 VIN tag.

I actually just decoded the vin, I’m not an expert but do you have an email address where I can email you? I’m interested to see what you think, definitely not stolen
