I just love these old Bedford CA's with their Column change, even though when 6 year old I nearly lost one of my fingers when my dad slid the door shut and didn't know I was there! .........blood everywhere. A lovely van my friend! cherish it!

I'm watching an abandoned 1954 split window CA. There's something awesome about the pug-nosed fronts and the sliding doors that I love. Long term goal is to convert it to electric with a false floor over all the battery cells in the back. I like the idea of a quiet and cheap running vintage van for making my deliveries in. Keep up the good work.

I never realised that there was a Diesel version of the CA, I thought they were all petrols.
