Advertising Revenue for this video goes to the NFL, I'm so sure they appreciate my effort and your time. Also a huge shout-out to Justin Timberlake for providing search deep empowering content to demonstrate this beautiful vintage television to its full potential.

One thing I will say for Timberlake, back when Johnny Cash died and Timberlake was nominated alongside "Hurt" video. Timberlake won but said onstage he didn't deserve the award and it should have gone to Johnny Cash. He got my respect for that.

Never watch nfl because never saw the point in grown men fighting to get a ball between two sticks in a field. Iam however addicted to your channel and your tallent is incredible. Ask yourself the question. What have i learned, or how better is my life after watching nfl game? Answer, its not and in fact you are monetary poorer. Watch shango66 and you have learned something, a skill that could enrich your life, save you money make you of positive worth to society. Give me shango 66 any day over a boring childish nfl ball game.

My first solid state 19" Sears TV circa 1974 had a power supply draw the louder the audio was...picture would shrink just like this GE does when volume turned up....it was just bad or cheap circuit design. I think when this GE set has the audio fixed it will not have to be turned up as much thus not really noticing the picture is being shrunk. That said I bet even after audio is fixed picture will still shrink when turned all the way up. Pounding disco music shows were fun to watch the picture shrink with the pulse of the beat!

Another good vintage tube product resurrection video. I recall you said in a previous video about the GE "these things usually just work" and sure enough, this does, after a bit of perseverance. The HV drop causing picture shrinkage with increased audio is because the TV does NOT like Justin TImberlake with his Hando "Romper Stomper" look. I must admit before I saw this video I'd never heard of Tide pods. They sound like a suppository.

I was on a WestJet flight during the Super Bowl, and almost every seatback monitor with live satellite TV was tuned to the Super Bowl for the entire flight. When the airplane landed, the flight attendants announced they would leave the TV going for the last few minutes of the game. This was one of the few times I didn't see passengers rush for the door when an airplane landed.

I bought a very similar set at Woolworth's back in the '60s. The TV costs $99.99 plus sales tax but the store's cash register could not ring sales higher than $99.99 so the cashier had to ring up the sale as $9.99 ten times, then add the sales tax. I still have the TV but I have no idea if it works.

You should get a neutral density filter for your camera or just find a way to get one mounted to it. A non polarized darkening filter should reasonably fix your issues with blanking, it'll result in a lower shutter speed and more blur in quick movements but it'd be a nice compromise so it's easy to see the screens.

very similar cabinet (the back in particular) to the British KB (Kolster-Brandes) KV003 "featherlite" dual standard (405 VHF/625 UHF) portable, also from around '65, big difference is the KB was all 'hard wired' chassis, no pcb, and we didnt have 'compactrons', so all 'normal' B9A valves/tubes (some were dual section such as triode pentodes or double triodes)
