Reving a car cold puts a lot of stress on the engine.

You're very welcome :) and Im Sorry it is very hard to keep up with all the comments on the channel. lol as for your question. Well theres two main reasons. Metal Compresses and decompresses at different temperatures and engines are designed to run hot. So at first when you start the engine cold the pistons would slowly warm up and decompress and if you dont let if you dont let the rest of it catch up the pistons will basically be "Too Big" for the cylinders which can cause damage. For the second reason, it takes time for oil to get to everywhere it needs to be within the engine and that can cause a lot of harm as well.
