Dear 5150mxVW 👍👌👏 That bug seems not as horrible as the other one that has eaten away by mice urine. I'm astonished. Additionally: All seats look relatively decent. 2) Maaaan, I'm nearly able to smell that rodent crap from over the pond. You are absolutely right, Sir! The rodent dust is even more worse for ones health (unfortunately not only bad for the respiratory system). I definitely wouldn't want to work on this car. Be assured that you have my compassion and respect! 3) Great smooth criminal joke at the end. Maaaan, I would love to see and hear you two together more often. Turning the engine results in a “Krispity-Crunchity” sound! Add a quart of 30 year old 10w30, a quart of unlabeled bar and chain oil; toss a gallon of Marvelous Mystery Oil down her throat and its as good as rebuilt! She’ll sound just like a 3 cup Russian diesel! No problem!

ahhh the joys of getting a vw running..........that little cog you speak off was the cause of my friends leg hair burnt off........One hell of a backfire and no leg hair!!!.........never put your distributor drive cog in 180 degrees out of correct position........the next guy wont know this and try to start it lol

My favorite year of VW,best styling features of the older models and the newer ones,best yet a 12 volt system.we had a '60 sunroof model that Dad bought for $100 in 1970,he spent the winter in an unheated carport fixing the body, replacing all the brake parts and dropping the engine to shim the crank and take out excess play in it,he had it ready to go by spring of '71 for when my sister got her license.

The end was too funny. Yeah used to trail ride one of those DT175’s. It was blue and black. Great little bike.

I think all that crunchy noise turning the engine via the alternator - will be packed mouse debris in the fan housing ?. I would take off the alternator belt and turn the engine via the crankshaft pulley. If you take the spark plugs out it will give you an idea of how it will move. Oil soak first the bores and pistons. It’ll fire up - you know it will, Mustie1 spirit has been on the property !. Good luck....

Thanks for a few minutes of laughter. Love it. This reminds me of a VW Type 3 Squareback that I bought from a farmer in Ohio. We had to clear the garden plants that had almost swallowed the car and then unbury the axles. The worse thing I found inside was used baby diapers. Puke!!

Hello Jason, big eyes long snout probably opossum. I can tell you my friend I don't know how you do it, seeing all the Volkswagen casualties of the years go by. But I guess it has to be somebody. Another great video, what in the hell did mustie1 wife kick him out? LOL it's always a great collaboration between you guys. By the way I had a 1975 dt175 Yamaha nice bike man. It was actually pretty fast for a 175 of course I have jetted the carburetor up go through the frame power pipe Wiseco piston Webco heads yeah it was pretty quick. For seized or just seized engines make a flush 3 times with cheap oil and a additive and after, its clean like new. \edit Change the oilfilter also 3 times. JLB flush gives a good result.

When I bought my bug I drove it back from Arizona, washed it and the water was orange going down the drive from the paint being washed off. Great show can't wait to here it run.(o\!/o)
