A GT-E Cobra Jet 428 Cougar is a rare find let alone one in such good condition. Excellent car

That was my first car when I can to the US at 17 years of age, and the v8, double barrel carburetor with a big block, which lasted me exactly one year, before I run it to the ground, that was 1974, oh but what fun that was. I learned quickly that if you stepped on the gas with all your strength, the wheels would just turn, but you would go nowhere (except to get a new set of tires perhaps...) My cougar was vanilla yellow with a checker top.

I don't think this kid knew what this is...calling it a Cougar XR7 is like calling a 427 Cobra an AC sports car. He kinda offhandedly says oh yea its a GT-E, like it had a/c or something. The GT-E is peak Cougar...only a couple-three hundred made...most were 427's, the last Ford to get the 427...this one is a later 428cj.
