I learned to drive in a '68, with a 400, 2 barrel carburetor (!), THM 400 transmission, and a LONG rear axle ratio. It had been built with the "Turnpike Option" package, and would go steady-state fast all day long without breathing hard. It wasn't quick off the line like the typical 442, but it sure was a marvelous car!

You could get em with 2 bbls? Still, sounds like a real beaut.

Always liked that name, Holiday Coupe. Very festive and cheery, something special. Great name to have on a muscle car, especially in those summers of love.

Always love the sound of the 442 exhaust. Wish I’d kept my ‘70 convertible.

I would be interested in your 350 engine. What year is it and is it a 2 or 4 barrel carb version? Thanks.

Cars don’t rumble like they use to and kids like to hear sports cars do digital farts as if that was a real physical outcome of a souped up engine. Even the term sound cartoonish, Burble.

☝ this guy has never paid for a restoration, and has no idea how fast you can spend 60k on one....not including the price of the vehicle.
