My uncle sold them back then. Me and my cousin were privileged to drive many GM Pontiacs, Olds, Buicks and Chevys in the mid 70s. My cousin could take anything from the used lot or 'outback' of Steakly Bros Chevy back then. Steakly Bros had all the GM models. Those late 60s Firebirds were my 2nd favorite to take overnight. When they were still like new w/ low miles they had a different magic to them that restoring can never replace.
