Love the 67/68 stance My first firebird was a 69. Now have the 67 and I think it looks better. And everyone stops me to tell me how much they like it.

You know us all too well and the fact that you listen to us and you do your very best to find the stuff we want to see, is why I think you have thee best automotive experience on KZfaq! We're a little tired of seeing Camaros everywhere! People need to realize there is a lot more to GM than just Chevrolet! We love classic Pontiac, Olds., and Buick too! =D

Love this ride. Back in 1972 I had a 1968 Firebird.

I have seen a lot of beautiful builds but that one is right at the top for me. Especially since I have a 1967 Firebird. That is a stunning car! Nice clean touches...LOVE IT!!!!

When you guys pop the bonnet & I'm watching it for the first time I had a Hallelujah moment right there and that moment kept on giving for second after second after second......Thank you Man ! In case you're interested. I bought a 400 Firebird brand new in 1968 and the sticker price was just over 3,600. It wasn't a convertable or it would of been about 4,200 depending on options. Mine was fully equipped. I drag raced the car for about 5 years and never had a problem with it. Even driving it daily with 4.33 gears and it was always driven to and from the drag strip and to work everyday. Wish I still had it. Yours is beautiful !

Very nice car , I like the mini tubs tucking in those tires I ended up putting rear fender flairs on mine waaay back in high school and spent months smoothing and shaping to the body to make it look original and stop getting tickets

When I was a kid I recognized the firebird when I got the Hot Wheels cars my brother used to bring home oh, so I knew every year I love these cars in the way they were made, and they look so cool and futuristic when I was a kid even now they still have that a amazing lifetime appeal

You're exactly right Scottie. That's why I love Firebirds so much is because of the rareness. It makes them cooler. You see Mustangs and Camaros everywhere, but when you see a Firebird it's like "Holy shit....that's a Firebird!"

Of course, the one year I missed Shades of The Past this beauty shows up! Currently building a '68 Firebird and totally agree, Camaros are wonderful but just a dime a dozen. Love seeing other Firebirds being built to this caliber.

It's a beauty. I think it would look better with headrests on the front seats though. The gauges are really different, where would you find them?

The Firebird 68 is, on my opinion, the nicest car of the sixties, ever.

I saw this at Barrett Jackson last week...the most beautiful 68 Firebird I've ever seen. It was vehicle #1270. I've been looking for this car forever...bad timing with a divorce precluded me from bidding on it. Honestly every gap was perfect...I mean perfection.

What brand are the gauges and knobs? I like the a/c controls vs. the stock push tubs. Would love to update my 68's dash. - thanks

ScottieDTV I am in a pickle and I need your advice. I own an 88 Iroc-z convertible. I love the car but I'm not sure if it will ever have that umphhh that older cars get. My question for you is... Should I hang on to it or should I sell it and try to find for instance a 67-69 firebird. They are quite affordable and sexy as heck. Give me your opinion.
