This was my first car at 21. I bought new June, 1969, for $3200 through a friends Hertz franchise. Light yellow, black hood , white upholstery, 4 on the flour. No spoiler or rear window vents. It was a beautiful car. My 351, 4 barrel, was completely stock, no where near enough power, but it sounded good.😊 Thanks

That is an unreal quality resoration! Lots of detail in it, like the door cards and hard to reach places like the scuttle tray.

Buddy of mine had one in the early eighties. He loved that car, drove it like a madman every where he went. He got a lot of tickets in it. His was a 351C 4v 4spd.

I have one of these cars with a few modifications I made and I remember at some traffic lights once there was one of those whiny Honda Civics with a guy a bit younger than me. He (somehow) thought he could out rev me and (this is how it felt so don’t get offended) there was this pathetic weeeeee, weeeeee from his car. I just really slowly pushed my foot down a bit on the throttle as the roar built up and by the time the light went green I couldn’t even hear his civic 😂 Best feeling ever I swear

The only flaw of this car to me is I’m only 15. By the time I could afford this beauty and I could get insurance (since I’m in uk) it would be very rare and extremely expensive but I will work work and work to afford it

Hi mate and I too have a69 Mach 1. But the badges on the rear quarters are the wrong way around and am curious why is it sitting so high ? Plus I gather the seats have been retrimmed as they forgot the red insert apart from those minor issues a very nice car
