My father was one of the first vending machine operators out of New Britain CT (National Vendors Inc.). He taught me as a kid to rebuild these cigarette machines (1950's-1980's) which I did on a regular basis. In total, we had approximately 400 cigarette machines, the majority of which were scrapped when cigarette machines were banned from bars, restaurants etc. I was able to save one machine, a 7 column National cigarette machine which still has the original price tag on it when cigarettes were selling for .35 per pack. All I need is the double sided key to the bottom storage bin which I believe is a Chicago lock (#401) and the cigarette marquee decal for the front glass. Thank you for sharing this video.
