Here we take a closer look at a 1969 GT500 Mustang. This year featured a new look for all Mustangs, with the GT500 adding the Cobra Jet 428 and ram air induction, now with 335 HP and 440 lb-ft of torque. Thirteen different exterior colors, including this car's Gulfstream Aqua shade, were offered. While not the last year of GT500 sales, it was the last year they would be produced until decades later, with unsold 1969 cars receiving new VIN tags and additional striping for 1970.
