Stage 3? I'm from Missouri. So many things off about this "Restoration."

All due respect, 95% of your facts are just not correct. There were 678 GSX's made I believe, in both white and yellow. Most were Auto's and no Stage 3 cars were ever made from the factory, ziltch, zero... Nor were there Stage 2 GSX's. The Stage 2 parts were offered as over the counter dealer parts starting in 1972. The stage 3 decal was probably made by the aftermarket king of Buicks in the day, Kenne bell who took the original heads and ported them and called them Stage 3 heads. Have to admit, it was hard watching and listening this to the end. For a shop that claims alot of knowledge its pretty sad.

Correct on all counts. Stage 2 heads were never released in production and were only available (75 sets I believe) as over the counter in '72. Stage 2 heads have round exhaust ports. Even the valve covers on this car are wrong. They are off a 430 engine. Ran the numbers and it's 1 of 1? Sorry guys but you know nothing about Buicks...period.

Let's call it a 1 of 0. VERY rare! HaHa! Any real Stage 2 headed car had those special 2 1/8 in. primary diameter Stage 2 headers custom produced for Buick to be sold over the parts counter of the day. @@66gsstage23

Great work!! Car looks awesome. Stage 3 never existed. Stage 2 would have round port exhaust. If he was sold a Stage 3 package from the dealer it was a ripoff.

Yeah I thought the Stage 2 was insanely rare. I’m not convinced of a Stage 3.

Sharp car. However, there was never any Stage 3 and if this is a legit 10/10 X, most of them were automatics not 4-speeds.

Bingo such misinformation Automatics were more common than the 4 speed on these. And that front driver bumper bent down and there’s Gus proudly buffing away

Amazing. This is my dream car too. It's awesome that he saved it. This man will forever be in my debt, and all the others that restored or kept these cars. There was a stage car that sold at auction with 210 original miles, new tires and battery that went for 700k. This car is easily 500k restored. Beautiful Buick art. Just for a clone GS car starts at 45k.

Similar. I hope one day to find a GS and make it a GSX clone. Gotta have something that you're not afraid to drive on public streets, or have people touch at car shows, or even in a public parking lot if you want to run inside a convenience store for a bottle of water or something.

Never heard of a Stage 3, the 4-speed was extremely rare for a GSX, and why go through the trouble of painting that car so beautiful and putting that bent front bumper back on? 🤦‍♂️

T E R R I F I C ! Awesome Stage "3" (^_^) conversion. I'll certainly settle with the Stage 2 soul becoming a transformed '3'. 0:43 ... rarity is right. 3:16 ==> "bring a lot of the older people back in time" ... that's me! Nice job indeed with the restoration (body + engine) as well as the historical data. Any info on torque output? Kudos Karl Kustoms. Please, please send it my way ASAP. Sincerely, Buick Fan.

We'd love to chat with you on your re-build Camron. Feel free to call our shop at 855.806.1147. We do all of our work in-house but it's always hard to ball park those cost numbers but we can certainly chat about options.

No such thing as a Stage 3. This video is full of misinformation. Stage 2 was over the counter parts and dealer installed. I believe there was 2 Stage 2’s built by the factory. One was wrecked and not sure what happened to the other but never sold any to the public.

They probably just did it for the clicks. But even so, it does more harm to them then good. Putting out obvious misinformation is just bad for business and makes them completely untrustworthy.
