Is has been a little bit since I uploaded a charger video but I have been struggling on what exactly I wanted to do. I am glad I finally decided on a plan and built these rockers. Some things just take time, there is no way around it but I would rather have it be right the first time.

Young man,I know body guys that wouldn’t take this job. I’m very impressed with your dedication attitude and not settling for anything but perfection. Let alone doing something like this in a storage unit. If you continue this up, you will have the baddest charger in the country. If not the world.

Impressive design and planning. There's a reason most folks know the expression "back to the drawing board". Rework is just a part of the process.

HOLY CRAP!! You are building the single most structurally sound Chrysler ever created. WOW 😮 I saw that car when Kevin purchased it and my only thought was to send it to the crusher. You are doing some amazingly fine work. You obviously have great passion for what you're doing. I really don't have enough good things to say. Just keep up the great work 👍✌️🇺🇲

Thank you! Yeah it looked good from the outside originally but the closer your looked, every piece of structure was rusted out and had to be replaced. No way around it haha

Cale : What you did with the sills will increase the beam- stiffness of the body-shell, better ride,less flex,etc. Only thing I would have done is used your leftover sills and grafted it onto the new sills so no fender recess existed. Ever seen an old Jaguar, Peugeot,etc.from that period? Smooth continuous line of sill,the fender bottom-ends line up perfectly with the door line. Even still,kudos to your tenacity and patience to get fit and finish way above the Big3 have ever cared about. Yeah,that factory rootbeer-copper color is very good looking.

Nice job. Those rockers (we call them sills in the UK & Ireland) are mint. Plus the inner rockers are a lot more substantial than the original factory pressings. Good upgrade. '90 channel' is a new term on me. Over here it's 'angle iron.'

You can spray the frame jig with a light coat of bulldog metal prep it's clear and you can weld on it and it will stop the rust

Welcome back dude, it's been a minute 🤙🏻. Work looks freaking amazing as always. It's going to look so sleek and clean without those pinch welds👌🏻. Question, how did the car ever line up if one rocker is longer than the other? I mean, that small amount would throw out everything on the other side of the car🤷🏻‍♂️

You really need to be spraying weld through primer on these sections! At least protect the metal some how.

@@camracing I was wondering what kind of rust prevent spray would be the best, I recently used weld through primer on the rear quarters to have them sealed, I can send you pictures on Instagram if that works with you, than I also got a few rear window rust issues at the moment

The corrections that you are making are definitely due to mass production automobiles having loose tolerances on fit and finish. Your rocker modifications should contribute to a more robust underbody.

It's looking good, I don't think any of these cars were really perfect from the start and then throw in 50 + years of driving and sitting. You should see some of the body lines on my wagon it was more of twisting doors and things around to even out gaps and body lines. It's still not perfect and never will be.
@ToriL97

I understand why you removed the pinch weld and it's too late to really change, but why not make it go up instead of hanging below the car. It would still be hidden giving the look you're after. Wouldn't welding that whole seam on the bottom lead to stress cracking?
