That's a badass Mopar right there, I love 'Cudas and have always wanted an AAR as well. They are my all-time favorite along with it's cousin the TA. Although I've owned mostly b bodies over the years (other than a 74 Challenger), but have always been facilitated with AAR and have always dreamed of owning one. The Indi mill that's in this car is badass, and if it's the all aluminum 572 Hemi it produces an impressive 860hp right out of the crate

For all of you commenting about the driver's reaction time just take a look at the christmas tree. The white car clearly leaves before the green light turns on, getting a half second head start as a result. His side of the Christmas tree lights up red to show that he's been disqualified

So it was a 318 car that someone put a 440 in and hopefully they put eight and three-quarter inch rear end in it also because the 318s had a 8.25 rear

I love it when a cuda' sits down and squats on it's rearend and the nose rears up. I use to own a 71' 383 the prior owner put a cam in it aluminum intake manifold and a Holley carb. It ran alot like s 440. My dad use to own a 69 440 they to him that only 500 was made. Miss dad & our cudas' both orange & black.

Cuda unsurpassed as I feel the best car to drive in all condition. Wet dry fast slow its one car has power to get out of its own way so to say drive in to the sun even no other car I ever drive cod I could see to do that *

Cuda's were never known for their take off. But they had NO top end to them. That's why when you thought you had them beat ,...here they come and just blow your doors off

this is an ignorant statement. at best, in a street car type setup, a hemi cuda would be closest for this kind of comment. it wasnt even that it was "slow" on the take off, it just held on the torque (thus hp) at higher rpm than other engines of the era. to say that the car is slow is completely stupid. i hope youve learned some things in the past 3 years.

Maybe they can't. But in Europe, track racing is what's preferred. Like Imola, Monza, Hungaroring, Spa, Silverstone and Nürburgring etc. Don't get me wrong I love all types of races, American muscle is my favourite car category but Europeans aren't like that.
