When this theme was in use, NBC had changed its logo from "The Snake" to the trapezoid N.

I knew that but it seemed to fit. Hey, any theme by the late Henry Mancini is a good fit.

@@crabbymilton390 When NBC changed their logo from "The Snake" to the trapezoid N in 1976, NBC was calling their 1975-76 schedule a "Super Season, You're Gonna Like it a Lot". kzfaq.info/get/bejne/q7KYiq-CubiziJs.html

The 1959-1975 "snake" monogram designed by John J. Graham, who also designed the 1956 and 1962 NBC Peacock logos.

@@David-yw2lv True. Both the 1956 "harlequin/diamond" peacock and the 1962 "Laramie" peacock were classic, much better than any other peacock logo they attempted.

I’m pretty sure it was and perhaps David Brinkley too since they were partners at the anchor desk.
