I can't help but wonder who designed and animated this commercial, it's a very cute retro style. I think another thing I like about this commercial is how much character it manages to cram into 30 seconds. The main spokesgirl is presenting all these goodies with the cheerfulness and enthusiasm you’d expect, and while it doesn’t seem like her friend cares about it at first, it’s clear she’s interested by the end with how she asks about the free stuff and then runs off to take part in the offer.

I need to tell my mother about this commercial! She's going to be 57 next month around Thanksgiving and she's a fan when it comes to Barbie & Cabbage Kids and even Raggidy Ann but most likely lost interest several years ago. It's so heartwarming and inspiring how the artists designed the girls and even having the 3D dress too way before 3D even existed because the ad is so darn detailed than most kid commercials I would see today that's mainly created with CGI. Can't believe my mother was only 5 at the time and hearing the girls say *"GROOVY!"* gives me Scooby-Doo vibes since the Hannah Barbara cartoon first aired in 1969.
