Loved the ATV fanfare. I used to watch Sapphire and Steele with my mum as a small kid and the ATV intro was so dramatic it was almost as if it were part of the shows theme tune to me. The Wind In The Willows theme was a thing of beauty, written and performed by the folk legend Ralph McTell.. Seeing Sooty and Matthew Corbett triggers some memories. They used to live not far from where my dad worked at the time and used to provide the kids entertainment at the annual employees summer fete. I got to shake Sooty’s hand. Or Matthew Corbetts thumb if you prefer.

The intro to Jamie and the Magic Torch was epic...it was a brilliant cartoon. Always remember Officer Gotcha on the unicycle. 😁 HR Puffinstuff...yeah, someone was puffin' stuff when they made that program alright, I'd say. 🤭 Bananaman was one of the weirdest, most hilarious concepts ever... don't really remember the cartoon itself. Good luck on getting the Duck Tales theme out of your head. That thing is a serious earworm. I remember watching Little House On The Prairie as a kid...my mum loved it, though I think in hindsight it was mainly due to the fact that she fancied Michael Landon. 😁 The Littlest Hobo always made me cry, even just the theme song. I think it was the fact that this dog was on his own, going from town to town.

Just William - hilarious. I bought the box set when my sons were young and they loved it as much as I did as a kid. It really hasn't dated, still funny and relatable.

Man, massive thanks for taking the time to upload these, so many i remember yet so many I'd forgot, sat here all the way through with a massive smile on my face turning to chuckles and the odd belly laugh at Bananaman and SuperGran lol, great stuff. And as a musician I'd forgotten how good some of these themetunes are, The Wind in The Willows and Littlest Hobo, Grizzly Adams especially, time for a bit of creative mixing (thievery lol) me thinks (but what was the piano play out at the end? The BBC never chose that surely? ) I'm binge watching the lot of em but really hope those spooky BBC ones are in like that stone circle and the one were all the mechanical and electronic equipment stops working, epic writing those.

DuckTales is my childhood. It used to come on Toon Disney back in the 2000s. The 80s version is the best version than today's new version. I remember watching Little House on the Prairie with my mom when I was little. I loved that show! I discovered The Littlest Hobo on my own and I like that show. Old cartoons are the best. That's why I miss Boomerang Channel because it would show classic cartoons from the 60s and 70's and I like classic cartoons even though I'm a 2000s kid.

Yeah great days. I mean loads of horrible things were happening like the Cold War with the constant threat a of a nuclear war hanging over our heads, clerical child abuse being brushed under the carpet etc, lecherous perverts like Gary Glitter and Jimmy Saville playing god and getting away with murder, the IRA and UVF terror campaigns running rampant and loads of other vile despicable things, but we knew nothing about any of it bring kids, so yep, better days.
