I think he removed the vent windows on the front doors. Pre 73 and older had vent windows.

Because we realize that cost of fuel can limit the amount of fun you have....And if you can get same or better performance and better gas mileage....all the better

but you go away from a historical setup ;-) i would do the same on my nova but here in germany..its not that easy to get your historical license plate with efi instead of a carb :D... btw in know fuel costs...actual 70 liters for 200km..around 140 euro :D....thats some money for the fun :D
