Do your heads have the .3" raised exhaust ports? If so, did your headers bolt right in? Blueprint 496 engines can be finniky with headers.

20k in the motor for a 496? You could have bought a 1,000hp 632

Less than 20k, you can buy 850 hp 632 for 10k right threw summit.

@@GJ-DT are you talking about a blueprint engine? If so blueprint doesn't use the higher quality parts as Scott shafiroff. He builds a 1050hp 632 pump gas setup for 19k. So I don't know how well blueprint 632 would hold up after years of beating on it.

I am currently building a max effort 496 and just the short block alone I have 7k in it. Heads are another 4k, dart intake is another 1200, duel dominators are ~2600, another 1800 in misc and then you have the cost of a two stage nitrous setup... It's not cheap *shrug*
