My first time seeing and riding on a tm 250 was when I was 12 yrs old and I remember that 250 with the yellow tank with the black print with the rising sun on it, and that bike had a pair of balls on it like no other competition bike the time, that was a 1975 Suzuki tm 250 ,,and because of that bike I joined the fl.track and trail riders,,and now I bought a 2019 husqvarna fe250,,and it is awesome!!!

Dicing with a pheasant. Gotta love that. One thing I always hated about Suzukis was the ding, pop, ding, pop, ding. They just couldn't run smoothly. The TS 185 was the worst for that. I hardly ever saw a TS 125 in New Zealand as they were such garbage, no-one bought them. Still, nostalgia deems we must remember the good and the bad.

For a motorcycle that is over 50 years old it pulled like a train and started very easily, probably more reliable than some modern day bikes. Tow strokes, you either love em or hate them

Yo. Was that bird supposed to be in the video? It was almost too perfect Ps......does that thing rip pretty good or? Somebody is selling one fully restored and running for 850 us dollars and in thinking about getting it
@2strokejunkie6863 жыл бұрын
I would go for it, that's a hell of a deal for a restored ts250, and there is loads of room for port work and larger carb, I had a 73 I converted for mx use.. ported jug bassani chamber, 32mm carb tm flywheel and stator,21in front wheel and few other goodies, look for my previous comment and I explaine the nature of the power since mods

I never could understand why a creature gifted with the power to actually fly, chooses to run along the ground in front of the bike 😂

Why would a bird do that? What kind of birds do you have there? LOL!! What was that bird thinking?
@mikemerrill1752 жыл бұрын
Bird thought it was a roadrunner instead of a pheasant.

Man you're engine braking that thing too much for my liking
@dennisyoung4631 Жыл бұрын
If oil injection is still hooked up, it shouldn’t hurt the engine. Even with a closed throttle, it will still get a reasonable amount of oil. Then, there’s the fact that early seventies oils weren’t as good as the modern ones, and the oil pump volumes were adjusted accordingly. Oil injection systems did not stint the oil back then. (73 175 Kawasaki, back in the late eighties. I used to leave a great big cloud of blue smoke taking off on a cold morning. Smoke was *gone* before I’d gone a mile.) Hence the engine is likely to be getting plenty on the overrun. That’s a good thing.
@dietznutz1 Жыл бұрын
@@dennisyoung4631 yeah to be fair I think it does have oil injection so you're right
