I had one of these in the early 80's! My buddy had a new Suzuki 450 that would blow my doors off but in the top end, the mighty 350-four would catch up with him. Many that brings back memories - thx for posting!

Fantastic, I bought one in Rotterdam in 1990, a complete wreck at the time for about 80 dollars. Completely restored the engine, the frame and body and got it running. I didn't even have a motorbike license. It easily ran 110 miles and hour.

Honda made some sweet bikes in thoses days, the others too, Suzuki and Kawasaki triples, Yamaha with their 2 stroke twins. Wandering through the shops in 1974 was way better than looking in a museum today. Even today how often do you walk through the local bike shop looking over each model carefully taking mental note on how well they are constructed.

I had a new Red CB 350-4 back in 1973 it was my second bike ,loved it so many memories seeing this video If you want to make your pipes last ,from new soak them on the inside with fishline oil ,and hang them up to drain out for a while It stops them rusting from the inside out they will smell for a while when they are on the bike ,but is worth it in the end

I also had a red CB350F in 1973, but it was my 3rd Honda. I had a white 1965 SPORT 50 CUB in 1968 and my 2nd bike was a 1969 orange CL175K3, the SCRAMBLER MODEL WITH THE HIGH MOUNTED FENDERS. GREAT BIKES...

Just bought one of these this summer. I live in Northern Canada, the machine has 22,000km. Completely rebuilt in 94 by a helicopter mechanic, then parked the next year, sat in an unseated garage since. I’m really looking forward to getting it back on the road.

Am in Nova Scotia and i bought a 350 f a few years back from a fella in Vancouver. It was all in pieces so i put everything back together and it started on second kick. I drove it in the summer of 208 and 209. haven't had it going since 2012. where did you find proper engine parts? Am thinking about restoring the engine.

I've got the same bike. Mine has the perfect pipes as well. Luckily mine had the mud flap installed as well. I never really attributed the survival of my pipes to the mud flaps though. Great point and I agree. I wish I could share a picture here it is another beautiful example.

Owned many of these. Restored and rode many. Had one with a Hooker header straight from the 70s. That hooker header was assume. The only hooker header for this bike I’ve ever seen. Going to build a 350four cafe bike after I get this KO 500four restored.

47mm bore, 50mm stroke, 36hp, 10,000rpm Redline and a max speed 86mph. Nice example of a Japanese Classic Guys. The color is "Bauccus Olive Green" and is a blue metallic base with a gold candy over lay to achieve the green hue. The CB350 Four was manufactured in 1972, 73 and 74, with the last year offering but a single midnight blue color. Although the grips are Honda, they are not "the" correct grips, which would be the raised fin grips. But...ungodly uncomfortable, so nice upgrade. My 1973 CB350 Four has 10,300 original miles and I have seen examples with over 40,000 miles still racking up miles at the clubs. Ultimately, the CB350 Four was not as well received as it's twin cylinder more powerful Brother, which is why the short run. About 60,000 examples were manufactured and eventually sold, but it was the CB500 and CB750 Four that really made a name for Honda in the early years. Good luck with the sale! Cheers! Zip~

The CB350 Four was actually a bit slower than the Twin counterpart but it was smoother and basically a scaled down CB750 Four but with pistons as small as pill bottles.

i built a bike like it for a buddy of mine about 20 years ago i really didn't want to build that bike because he was a very wild drinker i put it off for a few years but i went ahead and built that bike it was a basket case had to roll up the sleeves but it turned out to be a nice ride very fast no it was because he was doing over 100 when he went through a windshield ripped one of his hands off it was found over 200 yards away from the impact his right eg was ripped of right below the knee his face was on his shoulder and his chest was twisted around were his back would be i know because the day after i came home the pitchers were laying on my dads desk he was a cop that bike brings back a lot of thoughts

these bikes had anemic power. They were actually slower than the cb350 twins. Still a cool bike though
@jacquesminville80386 жыл бұрын
Jeff Ferguson like all Honda fours of the 70s, you had to keep the revs way up to get the most out of them, not much goes on below 6500 rpm. I had a 550 four for years. Got me everywhere and back. Never conked out. But keep those revs way up

I lived in Calgary in 73 I owned the exact same bike except I had a chrome plated sissy bar with a chrome maple leaf on the bar. Drove from Calgary to Victoria and back all mountain road driving. The Honda 350 four performed great. It was my first and last bike but I still enjoy hearing about motorcycles especially Hondas 350 fours
