She was nothing short of perfect in this number! I love her! I am so happy I met her after her lecture in San Jose on 4/20/2015.

God I remember seeing this when it was first broadcast. She did start on Broadway as a dancer but I didn't know she could sing till then. Thanks for posting.

You should check out the Rhoda show on hulu or youtube. It is timeless and funny.

That was so weird!!! I didn't know she sang. If that was her voice (it sounded like it was). Also weird to see her dressed so loud and such a glamorous hairstyle. Used to her looking more earthy in Rhoda and MTM. She's an excellent dancer!

To those who say "She started on Broadway," I've got to disagree with you. Almost nobody STARTS on Broadway; you gotta work up to that (outside of a few incredibly unusual cases). But, yeah, Valerie H. was a song and dance woman, and an actress on Broadway, before she became so well known on television. This is a pretty cheesy number, but she displays excellent chops, with a voice that has more than a bit of Karen Mason in it (high praise). The guys clearly have some solid talent and training too (and somehow manage to keep their faces straight, wearing those little red plastic hats -- well, except maybe for around 1:44 and just after; very funny).
