@10:11 You can actually see the paint in the container is the same as what is on the dirtied pieces. He used the same container to paint crap on them before the restoration and after to clean them up.

@Gene Vandenham Unfortunately you are right. He wreck the models, bend hoods and doors and wheels axles then weathering with rust. That is why when he applies the first washing liquid, some rust begins to lose, it is weathering, not real rust (at least in his other accounts, 'Mr.Restore' and 'Good Restore'). Another fact is that all his models start the same way and aspect. Lots of sand and dust, planted as well. It is a shame, because he is an artist and very high skills. He don't need to fake the restoration projects. But I keep watching his videos, because I like to see the enhancements and what he adds to the models. Nice details.

Just try "Naval Jelly", soak the rusty parts in it for 15 minutes and the rust just wipes off with a wet paper towel. (no elbow grease or wire brushing necessary).

Those spark plug wires and magneto need to be painted red. They look hideous painted silver.

Everything came out awesome the only thing I disagree with was the spark plug wires they should have been black red blue that would have given the engine a little bit of contrast and look more realistic otherwise it's perfect the original Bigfoot is and has always been the ultimate monster truck. These new things that's been around since the 80s are all Farms last Bob Chandler was and still is the only man who ever ran steel body construction over a monster truck chassis versus everyone else who ran fiberglass bodies I grew up in the 80s when all of those Bob Chandler trucks were the biggest and the baddest

I recommend you watch other restoration videos. Lot more could of been done with that rough spray paint job to smooth and shine it up. Same for detailing. Watch their tips/tricks to get a more realistic look. Nice job on not a fake find, it clearly had better days. You're on your way in this, just need a few more pointers to really make a restoration pop!

This truck is only a few years old. So the restoration is just a reverse of what he did to make it look old. Probably be more cool to see how you take something new and make it look old...FYI this is The 1/18th scale Greenlight Bigfoot diecast
