I have a 1979 Spyder Veloce. HAve haded for about 25 years I love the car not the fastest not best handling, but some how feel so great. Only thing in the San Fran BAy Area of Calif it is hard to find anyone who works on these cars

I drove my wife in this model , series duetto in alfa red around Lake Garda up the Strada Della Forra , famously used in the Quantum of Solace Bond movie - best ever experience

All of our cars go though pre sales checks and although no longer required in the UK a full MOT before they leave the showroom :)
