This 1977 Custom Dodge Van "JUST A FANTASY" built by Tim Ludwig when he was a teenager was hid away for over 30 years until he found out that Vannin' was still happening and very much Alive! He brought it to the 48th Van Nationals held at Albert Lea, Minnesota. July, 2021. Totally cool piece of history and as we Vanner's say another survivor! Took 2nd place in the Mild Dodge Class. You are a keeper, my friend. You bought a new vehicle and you kept it for years. That's what I do too many people change. And swap their vehicles every 23 years. And you wonder why they index with high car payments.

Yeah, I love the temperature that goes with it. My friend DIY is the way to go I block my temperature to match my advanced also Dakota I love it.

Love the 'It's your life" sign and your entire van and camper. How many guys still have their high school rides? Amazing personal rolling nostalgia.

When I was in the U.S. Navy back in the mid 70's ,a friend had a 77 B100 ,copper ,318 he just started the interior . Nice wheels ,tires ,exhaust and it ran great , I loved it . He went home on leave and traded it in on a 78 mercury capri 2 .I'm not sure if I used any profanity . Your van is really nice ,especially with the matching trailer .

At least with square headlights, this Dodge B200 77 looks different to what it was before. Not to mention, the gull wing passenger and rear doors.

Yep, I wish I could have my first Van back, It was my Dad's that he and I worked out of for many years. A 1978 Dodge Tradesman 200... he gave it to me when he bought a new 1990 chevy pick-up. I miss that Van, It Burnt to the ground, around the year 2002... so sad.

Would have been really cool if he had used an old shorty van for the trailer! I love the Dodge vans & just recently sold my 1976 California Custom with Cragar SS wheels wrapped in white letter BFGs, mini bar, bed, dual sunroofs, CB with whip antennae, 8 track, shag carpet, teardrop portal windows & a strong 360 4bbl with side pipes! Keep on Vannin & PEACE LOVE n HIPPYNESS ✌💖☮

It said touché in cursive on the side and the front door windows were also custom with a slant metal piece to them.

I love the cockpit with buttoned leather! I wish you many more years with this unique machine. Were you planning to add some sort of moonroofs where you have the white areas in the ceiling?

I bought my chevy van new in 1979 I put the same rims on mine in 1980 it originally had true spokes but everytime I made a u turn it would break a couple spokes on the right front rim,I put over 400k miles on it in 40 years..I sold mine a couple years ago an regretted it ever since..
