I had one with this exact, candy apple red color. mine had black painted pinstripes on the tank, and tail section. Also had an 1,105 Yoshimura engine in it, with 4 into 1 Kerker, and smooth bore carbs. Beat a GSXR 1100 with it back in early 1990s.......

Old clip, just wondering if you still own it? Or who's bike is it? Still have my old Z1. Thinking of selling it. Someone's offered me 55 hundred for it, I might let it go? Not sure yet?

I had a 1975 Z1B that I bought new. After 7 years and 65,000 miles, I bought a used KZ1,000 cylinder block, and cases. Built it into a Yoshimura 1,105cc engine, with the 1,015cc KZ cylinders bored to 73mm, a welded 903cc crank, because they were lighter, 29mm smoothbores, Yoshimura cams, and a 4 into 1 Kerker exhaust header. I once raced a GSXR 1,100 Suzuki. He could verify I had no license plate. He got a real good look at the missing plate from, oh, at least 40-50 feet behind me in the 1 mile long race we had!!!!!

@Max Sand it's an American thing I suppose,because here and most of Europe the roads are full of corners..to me doing that to a bike is like converting a Ferrari to a lifted 4x4....anyway peace out and sunny side up.

@bmf36342 жыл бұрын
No such bike z1 900 was only 73.74. 75 then then the 1000 kz
@milojanis49012 жыл бұрын
Wrong-O!! The 1976 900 was the KZ900. It was a 1 year only bike, as the KZ 1000 came in 1977. What-You think they didn't make the 900 after 1975? Yes, they did. Green was a popular color. They also had smaller carbs, 26mm vs 28 on the Z1. The KZ 1000 also had 26mm carbs. The 1976 KZ900 was the first big KZ, testing the waters for the KZ1000........
