Beautiful bike

a kid I worked at the pit with bought this exact bike in the year of the jubilee, lovely machine but compared to the quality of the Japanese machines, like the Honda 750-4 and Kawasaki Z1 they were falling behind, clutch/brake levers made of stamped out tin, no electric start, and an electrical system built by PIFCO. having to tickle carburettors to flood them spewing fuel over the engine, out of-date suspension and brakes, Triumph was now selling only to the converted and didn't seem to want to entice younger riders, and of course, the supply of parts was nonexistent at the times due to strikes at the factory, you could order a Suzuki piston and get it quicker than a triumph piston, it's almost as if management hated the owners, but nothing sounds like a British twin blarting away up the street,
