I had a '78 4-door Mercury Grand Marquis, green, 460 cid. and that car was dependable as the sun coming up in the morning. I live in Minnesota and one degree below zero morning, after a blizzard, under a snowbank she still started with just a turn of the key.

my parents first new car was a 77 Mercury(Marquis) Colony Park Station Wagon, Dark Brown with woodgrain sides witht he 460 cid engine. That thing just cruised and floated like a cloud, I miss her

So tempted to flip the air cleaner cover over. Nice ride that definitely brings back memories. Today’s kids would laugh at us getting stuff like this handed down to us when we first started driving. My first car was a 76 LTD Landau coupe with a 460.

I have my grandpa's 78 2 door Mercury the same as this but green with green interior. She is having problems with going in reverse, not shifting. When you drive it just use the crosshair hood ornament......😁😁😁😁
