Oil in frame .An expensive fix when it leaks. Otherwise a nice triumph. A very good price .

I had a 1971 oil frame Triumph Bonneville. Never had a problem with the oil frame. Course I never bent or broke the frame either.

It's a nice bike, needed an electric start.

Triumph eventually fitted an electric starter to the T140ES in 1980.

Nice bike but I always thought the clutch and excellerator cables looked awful just hanging out there flopping around ,very untidy

I'm sure they could be tidied up with a little effort. I do agree with you as they are it spoils the look of the bike.

The cables are for US high bars, easily sorted with UK spec ones.
