Discovered your channel with the Eddie Lawson KZ. Just got my endorsement a couple months ago had the opportunity to get a KZ1300 I think an 82 and it sold immediately. Still kicking myself for not grabbing it. But one day maybe. But still love seeing these bikes on your channel.

A friend could wheelie his over 100 mph. Was always scary to go riding with him. He never crashed and neither did I on my KZ1000.

It was too easy to overlook this refined beast when AMA Superbike racing was grabbing Cycle News headlines and ad copy. A few years later, it was the Ninja 900 and Top Gun stealing the limelight. Timing is everything in marketing, so this marvel of engineering never got its due.

Wow! I remember him riding the Z1300 on the back wheel and a motocrosser with an electric motor on the front wheel to keep it spinning because it was in the air for so long

Paul I meant no disrespect. This is the quality of bike I would expect from a business that sells vintage bikes, but in the beginning he surely didn’t have the capital to buy this quality. And he had some bikes ( bikes that I was in the market for) that were to cobbled up for me to purchase. I meant my post as a positive. That means he is moving forward and getting BETTER and this is something I’m sure HE understands. I am responding to You so you can feel like you stood up to a bully. (Good job) I’m sure Mr. Kaplin is aware of this and is striving to get better bikes and improve his brand and name. That is what a good business man does. It’s called ACTION and it speaks louder than words. He doesn’t need you coming to his rescue, he is doing just fine by TCB. I am looking for 2 specific bikes and if I didn’t think he has upped his game, I would not be looking at the channel. I’m sure there is some poor misguided Trans. Kid that could use your unsolicited help, or just calm down, get on a bike and go RIDE. And quit TRYING to be offended, and listening to RECORDS played backwards.
