Those Lincolns were some big, beautiful cars, back in their time.

I had 1 of those 79' Lincoln Continental Mark V Bill Blass Signature editions. I bought from my mechanic back in 1995 or 96' for $400. It was his grandmother's. It sat for almost 10 years cause she got sick. 80k original miles on it. Not even a crack in the white leather seats. I used for work and destroyed the interior. Lol.

The two B markings on the roof panel stands for Bill Blass Designer Edition on the 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V car.

My '78 Mk V got 14 mpg city, and 17.5 mpg highway (And boy, what a highway cruiser, none finer!) with the 400 dual exhaust engine.

Now that was a LINCOLN!! A land yacht.

That grill, taillights and some of the dash cluster components could have been saved and sold.

I often think what they had to do to find parking spots for those big cars then I remember there simply were less cars.

Seems like a lot of good parts and body panels on those vehicles that could have been used.
