I have been shooting bows - recurve and compound - for 50 years. I have a closet full of them. The only compound bow I still truly like is my Unistar. Smoothest draw you could ever imagine. Dead steady on the target. Whisper quiet on release. A joy to shoot every time. (BTW, it's not a CAD/CAM, it's a Unicam.)

I had a Jennings Unistar and Carbon Extreme. A boat load of animals were harvested in Florida. Plus target competition.

My Carbon Extreme was custom made by Jennings. It was 28.5 draw length with 100lbs draw. It destroyed feral pigs in Florida and Georgia. Clean pass thru on the shields with a thunder head 100grain fixed blade and a 6 inch over draw.

I just picked up a "new in factory box" Jenning, 4-wheeler Arrowstar, target bow, box dated 1982, complete with an Easton X-7 stabilizer and 6 X-7 arrows for $250. I'm not paying $1,000+ for a modern bow.

I think Parker and BowTech both released a version of that idea. It was called the " force multiplyer cam".
