The breaks on those are excellent. They are linked. The foot break operates the front left disc and the rear disc. About 70% to the front and 30% to the rear. The break leaver operates the front right disc. Once you get the hang of it, it is amazing how well it stops

Oh really that is interesting so you should really be using the rear brake mostly? I found the brakes really quite bad and did not stop very well at all, we even put new pads on the bike and did a full brake service and it was still pretty bad

@@RetroBikesDublin I do use pedal and leaver. Having said all that some owners separated the system. Check pedal look at the rear master cylinder, it should have a line to the back wheel and another out to the front left disc. If it has been mucked about with that might explain things

@@RetroBikesDublin I watched again, the front left disc looks like it's not operating . I have to say I love mine ,.it's a time machine , I get on it I'm 20 again , not the fastest bike in the world ,but handles very nicely.

Pronounced Moto Gootzi. I used to work with an Italian guy who insisted on that. Double Z is pronounced like the zz in pizza.
