Funny that the prophet 5 was one of the earliest synths modelled as a VST and people are still working on it. Needless to say Softube has done a much better job than NI did nearly a quarter of a century ago...

So happy to hear The Word Girl as the first song! Level 42's Sun Goes Down sounded nice and fresh as well and I'm happy that made it twice into the list. Boys Of Summer has to be one of my favourite synth intros for sure

repro and model 80 are the two best ones imho, hard to pick between them on sounds, but repro more feature-rich if that's what you want, model 80, plain and simple.

Gary numans track was NOT made with a prophet. I bet you dont know which one was used in all of those tracks. You just play around
