I don't know if I came in to see this video before. I kept thinking you bring back that aura of the 80's every time I hear you play. It's so incredible what those instruments can do. It's like the music never stopped. I can remember what I enjoyed the most of the 80's was the synths and the sounds that they produced. When I hear it from your channel it's like stepping back in time. I get very nostalgic when I hear you play. I'm glad to listen to your tutorials. I do hope this type of music will make a come back. I miss it very much. Thank you so much for your tutorials. They are very informative and very educational.

I've been following this channel from long time and just realized how much nostalgia has grown on me. I love Italo Disco and this channel has been very inspiring...Mile Grachie from Barcelona Mr. Synthmania!!!

I used to do this with a Roland 626 and an Akai S01. I'd write everything in drum patterns, including melodies. Really good fun.

I don't have much in the way of analog gear, but these videos are still fascinating. Your tutorials are still quite educational, and the beats you demonstrate are sooooo juicy. Thanks for doing what you do :)

A great video which gave the most important hint composing 80s synth songs. Triggering the bassline by the rimshot. So simple, but helps me to produce interesting basslines. Thanks for this SynthMania.

Thanks Paolo, as always, both interesting & extremely helpful for those of us (attempting!) to make 80s/90s synth music.

Another great educational video demo'd & explained very well. It sure helps me out viewing your vids-understanding how it all fits/works together. Getting back to music after a brief 35 years away due to career & profession demands. :)

I just finished understanding how to run the arpeggiator of the DW8000 from my Roland R5, it is sooo much fun! It was your vid with the DW8000 and the dx7 that made me sit down and read my manuals.
