fucking awesome. Thanks for posting. Australia's a fucking Nanny-State now, but this was great era in racing and culture. Group C was brilliant. So, according to the Comments below..Moffat Won by 2.5 seconds after Brock's time penalty.

Surfers International was a great track, I was at this race meeting. Dick Johnson and the big Blue XD, Brock and the 05 Torana, Moffat in the Rice Burner hee hee ... this was when racing was racing. No computer technology .... sad time when Surfers International was closed.

Brock was in a Commodore. 79 was the last year of the HDT Toranas.

Thanks for another great upload. But what is missing is the best part of the whole telecast when in the post race interview Brock is told he hasn't won and the officials have given the victory to Moffat.
