Collection of adverts featuring various scenes of Bertie Bassett advertising liquorice allsorts. These were promoted during Childrens and primetime TV Adverts in the Ad breaks along with kids comics.
These films are a retrospective and nostalgic look at what the offers have been over the years here in the UK and relive your youth
The channel mainly focuses mainly on Breakfast Cereal brands including Weetabix, Kellogg’s, Quaker, Nabisco & Nestle, however I like to include other things that interest me. Its a chance to act as a future archive/history for anyone who wants to relive the magic of youth when you used to rush down to breakfast, open the new packet and hope the gift was one you wanted
So for those of you who look back in the past with fond memories of Yesteryear and recall mascots then this is for you.
Where ads and commercials are included, these were all shown on usual ITV channels, including CITV, GMTV, POP, Disney, Nick Jr, Boomerang, Nickleodeon, Sky Kids ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Carlton, Cartoon Network, Anglia, LWT, Pop Milkshake, SMTV, Boomerang and more

Funny i don't remember any of these ads but i clearly do remember the 'good old bertie bassett, britain's favourite asset' song. Cant believe it was only used in one ad as that is what sticks in my head over anything else.

This is the best reportage on Bassetts Allsorts on the web. Thank you. Up to 4:30min it shows Bassetts in their prime, offering the best sweets in the UK apart from rowntree fruit pastilles maybe (not nestle version). Bassetts dolly mix, wine gums, and jelly babies were unbeatable as were Allsorts obviously. They also had Mr Men fruit gums too. It’s a shame the company sold out to Cadbury and then the Americans bought Cadbury and destroyed everything good about Bassetts.

Some of these are so rare... I've never seen the "All the best from Bertie" ads... I feel like there are tons of ads of weird puppet Berties that are just lost to time... There's no way they only made 1 or 2 of each of the ones with those primitive Berties, there HAS to be more out there somewhere
