1983 Los Angeles Raiders one of my all time favorite football teams. One of the greatest football teams of all time.

That punt by Guy was awesome! I’m glad he got into the Hall, he’s the G.O.A.T. punter. R.I.P. Ray

Marv Albert has always been my favorite. He just had a great sense of humor, mixed with knowing how to paint a picture, as well as letting the crowd speak.

I miss fall afternoons in the 1970s and 80s....Watching games with my Dad and brother...heading out into the field in front of our home to toss the nerf football at half-time, wonderful smells of comfort food coming from the kitchen. Friends and family visiting and laughing and just happy to be alive.

Outside of the 80s Bears defenses the Raiders defense was my favorites to watch. Alzado, Howie, Lester Hayes and Mike Haynes

That Chrysler commercial comparison to Porche was a hoot. Made the game worthwhile 😊

Start #4 for John Elway and once again, a few high level flashes aside, it was absolutely horrific. Imagine if the Broncos had given up on Elway the way some casual fans are wont to do when their highly touted franchise signal caller struggles early on. Don’t ever let a fan try to convince you they know what an NFL quarterback’s career will look like after a handful of starts.

Well said. QBs need time to develop their skills at the pro level. That doesn't usually happen in one season. Even Peyton Manning threw a lot of picks early in his career. Often, it just takes the right coach to help a young QB be successful. Look at Trevor Lawrence. Stunk under Urban Meyer, but prospered under Doug Pederson.

Great upload man been looking for this game for years..what a rivalry this was and still is I guess but once Denver finally got their act together in the mid-late 70’s they really hated us and then beat us in the 77 Championship which led up to Elway against us in the LA years which were all out wars..I think we knocked out Elway AND Kubiak in this game..I still feel terrible about it😁 Keep up the good work brother👍🏼 these uploads especially lately have been incredible thank you and God Bless🙏🏼

I hated the white jerseys at home Dan Reeves was trying to make us the Denver Cowboys. This might have been last time we did that. The fans wanted the orange jerseys.
@sicfrynut Жыл бұрын
i mean they (denver) used the nickname orange crush in 76/77 if not earlier (i know it was for the super bowl run). i've never understood sport leagues that push the white jerseys over colored jerseys at home. at least switch it every year.
@broncobilly4029 Жыл бұрын
@@sicfrynut The Cowboys wore white jerseys to take advantage of color tv. Otherwise, it would've been a blue and white game every week. It was one of the many brilliant innovations the Cowboys brought to pro football.

@@broncobilly4029 The Cowboys, Dolphins, and the Browns....traditionally wore white at home throughout their history. You're correct on why the Cowboys did it, and the Dolphins did it to make the visiting team wear their dark jerseys in the Miami heat. And the Browns have traditionally wore white at home since they started in the 1940's. A lot of my family is originally from the Cleveland area, and many of them who have since passed, used to say: The Browns wore white at home, to contrast against the gloomy Cleveland weather, especially later in the season. Now I have no clue if that's true or not.
