I like most of the come backs on this series, but this segment isn't funny to me. Until Dorothy mentions the home, Sophia just relishes in D pretending to be lesbian to help Rose, and yes, I am an advocate for gay rights equality, but this segment made a mockery of gay jokes a punchline, and I just didn't like it.

I mean. I guess it doesn't help that I'm gay and I find it hilarious.

I became a fan of "The Golden Girls" because when I was little, I would stay with my grandma Betty- "Grammy" as I called her- after school and she was a big fan of both "The Golden Girls" and "I Love Lucy." Watching these shows nowadays makes me feel as though Grammy is still alive and sitting next to me on my living room couch. Grammy died when I was fifteen; I miss her a lot, but I'm doing okay.
