I know this car sucked stock but we love the electronic gauges, bronze leather seats and two tone bronze paint so much that my buddy dropped 20k to have it completely overhauled. Threw in a mildly modded LT1 with a supercharger, new shocks, tires, seats restored, new cd player, paint and rims. Now she moves and handles like she should with sub-frame connectors and 375 hp. His Corvette now is what should have come from the factory, reliable and powerful with a great ride.

The "Atari" dash was amazing at the time and something I was hoping they'd work into the new Stingray as maybe a graphics package you could choose. The wheels are not what shipped with the 84 Corvette, honestly these bastardized version of the 82 wheels look better than what shipped. Overall this was an impressive machine, but that Crossfire engine was a bastard. It's a huge step up in terms of technology from my 82 Corvette, but its not even close in terms of appearance.

1984 model had to major issues 1st- Cross fire injection was horrible! 2nd 1984 Electronic dash was redone over for 1985 & engine was replaced w. new 230 HP Tuned port injection!

I want to give some advice to our two lovers that enjoy spying on the folks who are nude lounging on their boats using those high powered binoculars. If you are going to drive all that way to the ocean, take thr targa roof off before leaving the house and enjoy open air motoring as you drive. What you shouldn't do is park under a tree and then remove the top......those birds are really sadistic little bastards that get off on taking a crap on any car....especially an open topped red Corvette. That "thick cut pile carpet and optional leather seating surfaces" will be a mess! Rookie mistake....
