1984 Goldwing GL1200 Standard

1984 factory-naked version of the Gold Wing; also known as the standard or un-faired version of this venerable classic machine. Only some 2000 of these standard GL1200's were ever made by Honda and only in the 1984, first model year of the GL1200 series - and the ONLY standard Gold Wing ever made that came with a hydraulic clutch!
Restored from two donor bikes (84 Standard with 92,000 miles and an 84 Aspencade with 47000 miles) and two dozen parts from other 1984 models including a host of new parts too long to list, this 1984 Standard runs like a dream.

This so so beautiful, lots of respect, can you please tell me where you bought that windshield from? And what size? It looks awesome. Also the saddlebags, where and what brand? Thanks in advance

Beautiful bike ... i`ll want to buy one of these naked classic bike .. love it ... Honda and Kawasaki is my favorite marks

Thanks Adrian. It's been a lot of work restoring it and I just put brand new pipes on over last weekend. These old wings run for a long time 200K + if taken care of. Parts are becoming harder to find for the 1200 Standard but I have all I need. Good luck with your build. Fun project and really rewarding.
