Here is my Turbo. A full ground up restoration. Just about every modification except intercooler and two stage boost controller.
She is one of the cleanest smoothest running turbo's in existence.

wow another classic. I had an 84 that was stolen in Rhode Island after only owning it for afew months. I never saw the bike again. I made a promise to myself that if Kawi ever built another production turbo I would buy it. Of course they created the H2 so I bought one. Heavy mods and ended up with 270hp and 114 lbs of torque. It's truly an amazing machine. Promise made, promise kept. New Sub.

I’m 54. Backstory. 1984. I’m 16 or so. I have a gpz 550. Brother pre ordered the 84 750 turbo. It showed up “ delivered”. Unheard of then. Early order waiting list. That was the baddest ass bike on the planet. He was really good at motor control. He could wheelly down the street no problem... by himself. He fucked up. He did a wheely with a passenger, his wife at the time. Over it went. I know this sounds bad but, I remember thinking... oh know, the bike!! Scars and scabs was all. But. THE BIKE!!! It was never the same. It didn’t tumble but it had a cringeworthy venture. So, when I see one like yours, a tear falls. That’s the deep history I spoke of.

Funny...I'm 57 and have both the 84 and 85 turbos. I own a 1983 Kawasaki GPz 550 that I am the original owner. Purchased it when I was a senior in high school. As I write this the 550 is going through a ground up restoration. Frame is already power coated, swing arm and wheels done too. Motor is full take down...615cc kit going in. Paint will be done in about two weeks. Should be completed by this June then I will post video. More videos of my bikes coming - 2007 Honda CBR 1000rr Repsol Nicky Hayden edition with only 2k miles, 2006 Yamaha R1 LE #275, 2000 kawasaki ZX12 lime green, muzzy 1317cc motor, carrello rods, head work, bst wheels, 2008 Aprilia SXV 550, 2015 kawasaki concourse 14 lime green, plus my other bikes.

@@chubbyguyschannel6864 Compliments. I am Italian and I recognize the style. These are motorcycles that have great appeal. Better than those of today, which, except for a few brands such as Guzzi and Harley, no longer have a Soul.

Hello, I just picked up an 85 turbo in great shape.. What did you have to do for the larger tire to fit? Was there a kit for the rear fender delete? Thanks

The wheel was widened using two turbo wheels and welded back together by a company that has not been in business for years. Some time ago there were stainless steel rear fender under tails made...I got one. Every once in a while one poops up online...just keep looking.

Awesome 750, the tail delete makes it. Just wanted to know if you upgraded the fuel pressure regulator to compensate for the 810 kit and 1100 t-bodies? I understand Roger is "the man" now since Mike has passed....

Yes had a modified stock fuel pressure regulator. Roger is the expert on 750 turbos. He has done both my engines on my turbos, zx12...now a zx13, rg 500 Walter wolf. Now doing my original 1983 Kawasaki gpz 550 that I purchased when I was a senior in high school. I am fortunate that he is also one of my best friends!!!!

@@chubbyguyschannel6864 Thank You for the reply, I spoke with him last week and he's a great guy. I bought an 84 750 turbo and someone put a boost dial on it and blew the head gasket. I'll send him the cylinders for 810 fitting and the head for a 5 angle job and new seals. Good luck and keep the videos comming!!!!
