These were THE EXACT school buses my dad used to order when he was our school superintendent. We got 4 of them at the time between '84-86 air horns on them, outside intercom the driver could use through the CB system, CD player, etc...We used to get them from down in Georgia. They were true work horses and BY FAR better then the normal long nose school buses. These "flat faces" as i call them were like riding on a greyhound coach. They weren't cheap either as they were dubbed "The "Cadillac" of school buses.

That looks like the bus I rode on as a kid. I remember that front end. Ironically my bus was also bus 16

I have 2 columns with 15 seats in each column. I have 30 seats in the 1985 bluebird all American. There are 33 boys and 27 girls in the school bus in 1992.

I used to like those models of the blue birds... with the chromed out grill..

1:12 - Swing-out doors instead of jackknife doors...rare for a Blue Bird bus back then, but a lot more common on Thomas school buses!

I rode on a one like that my school district had a few. Good buses The ones Gwinnett county schools Had were 80 or 81 I know of one 84

I’ve seen that this was scrapped by now from what I saw on Flickr.
