I agree!! I prefer documentaries over “biopics”.. majority of them are filled with nothing but fabricated stories. I didn’t enjoy the movie not one bit, with the exception of the music. It seemed rush and there were wayyyy too many commercials!

Jacky sang alto majority of the time!! The sisters harmony is Denise/Karen- Soprano , Jacky/Dorinda-Alto and Twinkie-Tenor, and this worked out perfect because when Dorinda led it was another Alto, when Karen it was Niecey on Soprano , and When Twinkie led she would do the Tenor harmony a lot of the times or Dorinda would do it. But when Niecey left in 1986 that’s when harmonies had to change and Twinkie would sing soprano when Karen would lead and Dorinda would sing the bottom and Jacky in the middle or vice versa with Twink on the tenor note and Dorinda on Soprano. Jacky really didn’t do a lot of Tenor singing until when Twinkie came back in the late 90’s up and now.

And I remember when that hair style that Dorinda has was in style in the 80s. I see why they started wearing add-ons, because with all that SWEATING they would sweat out of their hairstyles. But this shows they all have nice hair, and Karen’s hair is way down her back now in 2022. But thank God for protective help for our hair.

A few observations: 1. I love when Auntee Jacky sings alto. 2. Love Auntee Karen's little Auntee Niecy style head shake she did. 3. The audience is giving what they're supposed to. 4. I love vintage Clark Sister's videos. 5. The Clark Sisters are simply in a lane of their own, there will never be another girl group like them!

One thing I LOVE about Dr Mattie Moss Clark, is that she seemed to have really enjoyed her children's self expression for God. Even in their own individual ways- she seems to promote or encourage them to be uninhibited when singing. She looks down at Karen's feet when she's singing Hallelujah, so impressed by her daughters lol I love it

Back in the day she was the primary alto. When Twinkie would lead, Dorinda would take the bottom note. Even when it was the 3 dorinda would take the bottom or occasionally Jacky but Jacky mainly sang alto

I promise if you didn’t know that was Twinkie seated during their interview, you would think that it was Kierra Sheard ( Karen Clark Sheard’s daughter). Kierra looks just like her Auntie Twinkie in her younger years. They are like twins. Genes is something else.
