I know Jim Putney. He did the machine work on my 22re engine I built. Still runs strong. He's the best machinist on the west coast. His shop is in Chico Ca.

Couldn't agree more. Truck is an absolute dream to drive. Engine has less than 5k miles on it at the moment.

@Garbo Off-Road I've known Jim as far back as when he was a machinist at Rising Sun Engines in Chico. I worked at a shop across the street, and we did engine installs for them. That was the late 90s early 2000s.

Nice truck! I had a 85 Long bed with a 22r, and I loved it. I paid $2,200 for it, and then found out it had a blown head gasket. Had it fixed, and ran it for years.
