@@WoutMusic With some good marketing, there's a lot to sell. And it's not just old single fisherfolk like me. Take your dorm room to college with your transportation attached. Go to your daughter's wedding and then visit other family for the weekend. Volunteer in a disaster, and not worry about sleeping on a gym floor. (The Air Force could load about six of them on a transport to disasters in the boonies.) But as a single person, the privacy visiting family would be nice. My medication and other mendicants are out of reach for children. I would have my familiar items all in one place, from shaving gear to my personal coffee mug. A place I can retreat to when loved ones get on your nerves, or you get on theirs.🤣 No need for a rental car to run errands as these guys only use a single parking space. Good gas milage, unless you're one of these folks that wants the scenery to just be a blur as they speed to the next tourist trap.) There's so many uses for an efficiency apartment on wheels that it boggles the mind. But not at the $USD50K +++ price range that new ones are commanding. And the the fees and shipping on older imports, plus the paperwork hassle, makes this a hard task to profit at. The exact reason I checked out of the whole rat race to begin with. 😎👍

Can't figure out why Americans are always getting screwed... Consumer used to drive demand... Now, mfgrs. cater to elites... Example: Did away with mini pick ups, small cars, etc. GM makes an EV in China with AC, PW, PL, etc., for less than 5K... We'll never see it here... The do-gooder over regulators will see to that... Yeah, the old style is so much more natural looking and home-y. Also for some reason it seems much more rational, too. This one has an almost perfect use of the space, no weird gimmicks.

Well said. These older ones have more character than modern campers. I have seen videos where they rip out a perfectly good interior just to follow the latest colour trends and they never look as nice as the original.

That is not a good idea because of the engine heat eats up the rubber and caused it to break down faster. That idea did not last!
