Thought I had this Carb figured out, but couldn't start it cold.

I am actually working on one now and also starts and idles maybe 4 sec and dies of ill have to admit that I did not clean that tube neither the choke tube. Ill definetely try that next.

Right now I do... I buy and sell stuff as space allows... and as my interests change, lol.

@@ontariotube I own an argo and tdub too. My tdub didnt like to start in the cold either but the newer ones are set to run lean . I backed the air fuel mixture screw out 2 1/2 turns and now it fires right up in the cold. from the factory the screw was only back out 3/4 of a turn...

No o-ring for the pickup tube?

hmmm... I can't recall. Haven't ridden it since. Tried to start it yesterday. Fail. Will be back in to it soon I guess.

Yeah the o-ring doesn't show on the service manual or the diagram but there's supposed to be one. If it's missing, it might've been the reason why it got clogged up in the first place. Just my two cents! Thanks for the great content.

Out of curiosity, I decided to order a carb-kit for it. Just arrived today.. I'll try to make time for an update-video in a week or two.
